Woven from the a delicate, hand-spun Romanian cotton (pânză topită) — the Fleurs d’Or Roumaines dress transcends fashion to become a true work of art. Every element is entirely hand-embroidered, with intricate openwork lace and ornamental patterns that blend cotton threads and touches of natural silk.
Each motif, on both front and back, is created using the four-thread openwork technique, one of the most complex forms of hand needlework — mastered today by only a few artisans in Romania. The result is an architectural interplay of light, texture, and transparency, where every stitch holds a story of devotion.
A single dress can take up to six months to complete, each centimeter patiently woven and embroidered by hand. The chromatic harmony — ivory, honey, olive, and gold — captures the essence of sunlight resting upon the fabric.

Measurement + Care instructions
To preserve the beauty and durability of your handloom-woven blouse:
- Hand wash in cold water (max. 30°C) with mild detergent, free of bleach.
- Do not machine wash or tumble dry — vibrations and high temperatures can damage the handwoven fabric and embroidery.
- Air dry naturally, laid flat in the shade, to prevent fading and distortion.
- Iron on the reverse side, at medium temperature, preferably using a pressing cloth to protect the fabric.
- Store in a dry, airy place, preferably folded rather than hung, to protect traditional seams.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, perfume, or deodorant directly on the fabric to prevent stains and discoloration.

Cut in a T-shape, the blouse widens naturally toward the hem, creating volume that can be bloused and gathered at the waist for a sculpted, couture-like silhouette. The sleeves — generously wide and softly structured — invite the same approach: adjusted via the artisanal drawstring, they can be drawn in or released to create an architecture that is at once diaphanous and deliberate.
We recommend sizing up. The more voluminous the sleeve, the greater the interplay between fabric and drawstring — allowing you to compose the silhouette as you see fit, fluid or gathered, open or refined. This is not merely a blouse; it is a canvas.
