Richelieu Craftmanship

A voluminous, straight silhouette conceived for every figure — effortless in form, extraordinary in making.

The Merezhivo dress is distinguished by its Richelieu embroidery, one of the most demanding traditions in fine needlework. Each sleeve is hand-cut over the course of eight hours; the hemline alone requires days of sustained work. To the collar and sleeves, 24-carat gilded beads are applied by hand, one by one — by five artisans in Kyiv, over 10 to 15 hours per garment.
